As an instructor, my job is to share my knowledge and passion, ensure my students become
confident cat handlers, skilled at grooming, and at ease with managing cat owners and a cat grooming business.

West Coast Sassy Cats Grooming Academy prepares students to become
Certified Feline Master Groomers.
WHO?
Prospective students must be members of the National Cat Groomers Institute, enrolled in the Complete Cat Groomer Training Syllabus and have passed the Temperaments & Handling and Health & Anatomy written exams.
WHAT?
The 5 day intensive program supplements the Complete Cat Groomer Training Syllabus by teaching and testing practical grooming skills.
WHERE?
The academy is located in the West Coast Sassy Cats salon, on stunning Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The home-based, custom designed salon allows for intensive one-on-one teaching.
WHEN?
Sessions will be offered multiple times per year, as agreed upon by the student and certifier. The 5 day practical training program will run Tuesday-Saturday.
HOW?
Fees $800 CAD per training day (5 day program)
$65 USD per written exam (4 exams) to be paid to NCGI
$65 USD per practical exam (5 exams) to be paid to NCGI
Deposit 50% $2000 CAD 15 days after registration is confirmed
Balance 50% $2000 CAD 15 days before the start of training
Cancellation Life happens! Rescheduling is encouraged; 95% fee refund for cancellation
